Client: Leading copper rod manufacturer in Guayaquil, Ecuador

Challenge:

Manual coil handling caused 15% surface damage to Ø1.2m copper coils during transfers.

The existing lifting equipment of the client has deformed under the hot environment. The coil temperature is 80°C and it requires a significant amount of money for maintenance every month. Despite the increasing demand from the factory, the production output is still limited to 800 tons per month due to the slow production process.
